Women are essential to the mission of Christ.

As the women's ministry of the Charis Fellowship, Charis Women has the unique opportunity to encourage and equip women while serving alongside churches, ministries, and women from many backgrounds who share a desire to follow Christ faithfully.

Everything we do is centered on helping women know Christ more deeply, live faithfully, and participate fully in God's mission.

We believe women flourish when they are rooted in Scripture, encouraged by meaningful relationships, and equipped to serve faithfully in every season of life.

Through gatherings, resources, prayer, mentoring, and leadership development, Charis Women seeks to strengthen women, churches, and communities for the glory of God.

For decades, Charis Women has served alongside Charis Fellowship in its mission to make disciples and strengthen churches around the world. Executive Director | Knoxville, Maryland

Jenn is a church planter, Bible teacher, and leader developer passionate about helping women discover and use their God-given gifts. She has served as Executive Director of Charis Women since 2022 and loves creating opportunities for women to grow in faith, leadership, and ministry.
SARAH MCMAHON

Board Member | Northfield, Ohio

Sarah has served in a variety of ministry roles, including administration, children's ministry, communications, hospitality, and women's ministry. She is passionate about helping women understand from God's Word that they matter deeply to the heart of God.
JOSIE RAMIREZ

Board Member | Norwalk, California

Josie serves in women's ministry and is passionate about equipping women and girls to faithfully use their gifts in service to the Lord. She finds great joy in helping others grow in faith and discover opportunities to serve.
SUZIE RIDER

Board Member | Bellefontaine, Ohio

With a background in education and years of experience in children's and women's ministry, Suzi is passionate about discipleship and strengthening the local church. She especially loves helping women and children grow in their understanding of God's Word.
Kara witt

Board Member | Lakeland, Florida
Kara serves alongside her husband, Orrin, at Neighborhood Church Lakeland, which they planted in 2022. She is passionate about women's ministry, biblical counseling, discipleship, and helping women grow in Christ through authentic relationships. Kara also leads The Well, a Christ-centered support group for women navigating difficult relationships.
Lauri Palmer

Office Administrator | Brunswick, Maryland
Lauri serves as the Office Administrator for Charis Women and as the Grace Kids Director at Grace Fellowship in Brunswick, Maryland. She has a heart for helping women feel welcomed, connected, and equipped, and loves supporting the ministry behind the scenes so others can grow in faith and serve Christ faithfully.

Communications Director | Frederick, Maryland
Lorena serves as the Communications Director for Charis Women, where she helps communicate the ministry's vision through writing, storytelling, digital communications, and creative strategy.
